A vertical engine, generally termed a candlestick! This is an example of the largest of the five 310 series engines. It sports a blued brass boiler and nickel-plated whistle & cylinder. (There was also a 305 series which were indentical except for the finish on boilers and cylinders - they were polished and laquered.) The engine came with instructions, pourer, filler funnel and burner.
