The Empire B43 is somwhat difficult to find. It is American made and fired by electricty as were all of Empire Steam engines. The company that made the steam engines was Metal Ware Corp. in Winscosion, USA. They also made steam engines under such names as Empco, Sunshine Brand, Quality Brand and others. All of Empire engines are strong, steady and heavy. Their trade mark was the chimney. Its purpose is for filling the boiler and it is also the relief valve.
