| Notes: | Karstens rendition of the Aeolipile, supposedly mans first version of a steam engine designed as a toy by the ancient Heron of Alexander. This example is possibly Karstens biggest commercial success. Purchased in 2004 and probably made 2003-2004 as I had to order it. Fun piece to operate and always engaging to anyone new to steam toys. |
