This was built in 2006 from a set of castings purchased from Stuart Models. The plethora of information and high quality of castings make this the perfect machining project for the junior model engineer, producing a very robust and powerful model engine. Probably the most popular engine in the current Stuart range, this well machined example has a few extras fitted including cylinder drain cocks, displacement lubricator and a cast iron pulley fitted to the crankshaft to run accessories, it runs on very low steam pressure and is a very smooth and quiet runner.
