Notes: This engine was introduced in 1927 and continued into production up to 1940. Electric fired which Weeden was promoting due to the risk of accidental fires in the alcohol models. In 1926 Weeden started a change over electrifying a good number of their production models. This engine is a take-off of the famous model 14 which added a cast iron base which added weight to a already heavy engine. The boilers did not have the embossed rivets as the 14 had but otherwise were mostly the same. This particular engine has a rare option of nickel plating on the boiler and all the fittings.
