The Weeden number 7 was advertised as the engine that runs the country. It was a miniature of what factories used in the day. It was made from 1890 to 1907 and sold for $1.25 with a wooden box. The boiler has seven rows of rivets on the solid brass boiler with a weight-levered safety valve. The whistle operates from a screw valve and the engine is throttled. The sub-base is tin with the engine base being brass. The firebox has steel sides with brick embossing and painted red. The ends are steel and made to resemble cast iron facade.
