Geo. Sipp Co (later Geo. Sipp & Sons) a U.S. builder made steam engines ranging from 1/4 HP to 2 HP, the larger ones being for commercial use rather than toy steam. Some were also supplied as kits for the model engineer to build and it can be difficult to determine the difference. It appears that the company closed in the 1930s but some reproductions were made by another manufacturer or individual in the late 1980s.
